As a member of the Gravesend Regatta Society - Traditional Fixed Seat Rowing, you will be able to attend the training sessions, held on the Thames, on Tuesday and Thursday evenings during the season (1 April to 30 September), when the weather and conditions allow.
Subject to demand, we will also arrange weekend sessions, offering members either additional training along the local stretch of the river or longer rows further up or downstream.
The Society runs the Gravesend Town Regatta, as well as other races/Regattas throughout the rowing season. Your membership allows you to take part in these races, for which the Society reserves the right to charge an additional race fee (advised to you in advance of entry) for those competitions.
Gravesend Regatta Society is a registered charity and your membership goes towards the storing and maintenance of the boats and other equipment. The Society’s aims are to keep traditional rowing active and alive in Gravesend.
